After a few post-birth complications I struggled with breastfeeding from the beginning. I never really felt like I knew what I was doing, and my little one was struggling with slow weight gain. We were supplementing with formula to help her along and I’d considered switching to formula only so many times. After talking about it with my GP she recommended Sarah. I hadn’t even considered a lactation consultant because I felt like 4.5 months was too far in. I couldn’t have been more wrong. A single consultation and the follow up support has changed everything. My baby is feeding better, I’ve been able to increase my supply enough that we can cut back on top ups and cut out the formula entirely in favour of expressed milk. Most of all I feel confident in what I’m doing and that’s led to a happier mum and happier baby. Thank you Sarah.

Sarah not only supported us through the physical birth of our twins, she was incredible both during pregnancy and postpartum - helping establish breastfeeding, answering endless questions, providing unbiased and supportive information and helping me to have the experience I was hoping for…and to finally get some sleep…and to hold a baby or two when I ran out of hands. Anyone who has her assistance during their pregnancy or parenting journey is so very lucky, she is one in a million!

Thank you for sharing your expertise, guidance, resources and the generous time that you extended to Rach and I. As a same sex couple becoming parents not every appointment has been a warm and welcoming experience so we really appreciated your inclusivity. We feel so much more confident approaching breastfeeding/feeding in general after today and further to that knowing we have a familiar face in our corner should we need is a weight off our shoulders!! ☺️
